British bridal label Tilly Thomas Lux was founded by designer Sally Thomas in early 2015. The brand was named after her grandma, who was such an incredible, funny, strong, independent woman and always wearing something beautiful in her hair. She spent over 10 years in designing and making jewellery for global brands, then decided to focus on her passion for making bespoke bridal headpieces. Her story as a accessory designer started with making necklaces, bracelets, etc. for her friends and things quickly progressed and she took the plunge and turned her lifelong passion into her dream business. She aims to design pieces that lasts forever so she uses the finest materials of Swarovski crystals, silk tulle, leather and ribbon. Sally works with with London’s finest artisans, pieces are hand soldered and plated, stones are handset to make lightweight comfortable pieces; all handcrafted and lovingly finished in her London studio. She begins designing the pieces with getting to know the brides; their style, dress, personality, budget, etc., then creates a dream headpiece that reflects the bride wholly.
