Bulgarian Albena Petrova was raised in a family of artists – a sculptor and a jeweller and she developed a natural interest in fine arts. She started with painting and sculpting when she was very little and graduated from the School of Fine Arts, specializing in pottery making and glass engraving. She continued her studies with Culinary Arts in Montreal, specializing in Pastry Making – and that is when her passion for cakes began. After all her studies, cakes became her new medium to transfer her artistic vision and talent. As she improved her skills, her cakes became more and more uniquely designed according to customer’s ideas, visions and dreams. I love thinking out of the box and experimenting with tools and materials. Attention to the detail is an important part of my work, while I always welcome a challenge.” she states on her website.
