Kate Smuraga is a gifted photographer from Belarus. She captures very powerful and intense images of people, mostly in the outdoor environments. The people in her portraits are very much her own friends from her hometown. That makes her photos very intimate and even more powerful. We can see pure emotions the faces of her friends. This series of photographs was Kate’s attempt to document the changes which her hometown is going through.
