Poor Cat Abandoned by His Family Twice Even After Walking Back Home 12 Miles

Unloved Toby the cat has a quite heartbreaking life story. He entered his dear human family as a stray cat, but unfortunately, they didn’t know how to take care of him. 7-year-old Toby didn’t get along with family’s other cats so they decided to give him away to someone else in North Carolina. Poor Toby was so confused, not knowing what was the reason he was abandoned by his loving family. Clueless, he patiently walked 12 miles back home, to stand right in front of the doors that were shut closed for him forever. He was rejected once again, and this time, his owners had no mercy. They wanted him dead and asked the shelter staff to euthanize him. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County posted on Facebook: “The shelter called us at the SPCA to ask if we could take him in and help him find a new family. Of course, we said YES!” With a rapid speed through the social media, the word had spread and Michelle Puckett from Raleigh, North Carolina stopped everything she was doing to immediately go to the SPCA and meet little cute Toby. That was the moment when Toby’s life turned around for good. On April the 13th, he met his new family. His new cat mom, two sweet kids and one feline are the best company he could ever hope for. His cat mom is loving him dearly and taking care of him, while kids are playing and running around the house with Toby who is finally truly happy.
