Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Emily Kaul was always an artist inspired by all the wonders and beauty of the natural world. She does her work in Portland, Oregon but before that, she found her way at a completely different location. Moving to Big Island of Hawaii, where she got her first tattoo she was introduced to the enlightening power that grows in this form of art. That was the moment when she solely turned her focus to the tattooing career with a goal to create a space where people could fully embrace their true selves, with tattoos as the means of expression. Humble in her work, with a high sense of gratitude for every new experience and person she meets. At first, she was primarily working with other women on their tattoos to heal, inspire, and empower. Now her clientele has grown to include artists, doulas, midwives, healers, mothers, fathers, and teachers. Besides tattoo work, she sells her watercolor art on Etsy inspired by wondrous nature that she appreciates and loves so much.
