Photographer Alexey Zayats was born in Mariupol, Ukraine in 1978. Since his childhood, he was engaged in photography amateurly. Now, he lives in Kiev, Ukraine and works as a system administrator in a large construction company and he is still into photography but only for fun. At first, photography for him was just a hobby and a way to relax, but 5 years ago, he took up his camera more professionly. Now he holds his camera for both creating art and letting his models observe themselves through his lens. “I would describe my genre more like sensual portrait. I also work in the genres of boudoir and nude. I prefer these genres as they are the most complex and interesting ones.” he told us in our online interview with hi. We also wondered about his inspiration for creating such impressive female portraits and he responded as follows; “I take inspiration primarily from the people I photograph. Because each person means a sample of the whole world and by capturing her you are sort of reflecting what’s inside of her, in other words; her soul. You give people the opportunity to take off their masks and show who they really are.” He doesn’t have anything in mind about what to do about photography in the future, as he shoot for only pleasure whenever he has free time for now. Having seen hundreds of boudoir photography examples until now, we are extremely impressed by his style for this genre.
