Zoya Mulla is a self taught artist and mom to 3 girls and the owner of Sweet Home Bakery. She is a fashion designer by profession who chose to follow her passion for baking. She started her business from scratch and learnt everything about baking on her own without taking any classes. “I’m a certified fashion designer turned full time Home baker! I’m 30 years young today and love my life the way it is. My hometown is Vasai (Mumbai) I really enjoy making cute fondant cakes. And when I’m not working i binge watch on Netflix (my stress buster). I have been married for 7 years now and I am proud to be the mom of three beautiful girls. My children have brought a lot of enrichment, change, opportunities and growth to my life. The only reason for me to start this was that I wanted to do something for myself after my 1st born while I take care of her and work at the same time. I love everything in pink and pastels!” she tells about herself. She loves fondant art the most and sugar art is also one of her favorite things to do. Besides her daughters, she takes her inspiration from Disney Princesses. She has been recognized as the Top 100 Bakers of India and Top 25 Bakers of Mumbai. When we asked her about her future plans during our online interview, she replied us as follows: “I want to have a sweet and pastry cafe in future where I serve fresh donuts and breads designed in such a way that everything around makes you nostalgic about your childhood.” We fell in love with her lovely cake designs and we are sure they taste as delicious as their looks.
