We’ve stumbled upon Netherlands based photographer Jaap Erkelens on Instagram and then read an interesting interview about him. He is very popular with his “puddlegrams” that presents charming sceneries reflected on water. Although he works for an engineering and consultancy firm, you might think that photography is his main profession, once you see his amazing photostream. He always observes his surroundings to capture and he finds inspiration even in ordinary things. Taking puddlegram is his favorite genre which doubles the beauty of any kind of scenery. He says “Puddles are a nuisance to most people. However, I can’t wait to go outside after a rain shower and discover all those mirror universes hiding in plain sight. I feel like a kid again when I “discover” a puddle at a special location, like here in the brand new Central Station of The Hague.” Have a look at his impressive shots.
