Books are truly one of the most important things in this world and every one of us has a special relationship with them. The case is no different with a talented Korean artist Jungho Lee who decided to pay a wonderful tribute to books by incorporating them into his amazing and surreal drawings. This gifted Seoul-based illustrator creates stunning hand-drawn pictures that are later scanned and digitally layered. How good Lee really is, tells the fact that he was recently declared a winner of the World Illustration Awards 2016. Much respect for that, sir! Creating the stars.

Every book is the world for itself.

Books allow you to fly.

Truly surreal.

Fishing for the brightest star.

Books illuminate your path.

They sometimes hide harsh and cruel worlds.

Books are portals to other worlds.
