Undoubtedly, the fireplace is the focal point of all home gatherings during fall and winter. Decorating the fireplace and mantel is one of our favorite activities during the festive seasons. There are plenty of natural decorative elements that you can use to adorn your mantel for Thanksgiving. You can use decorative nuts, branches of fall leaves, big and small pumpkins, a nice family portrait or some other type of framed art, shocks of wheat etc. You can also make your own wreath, garland or terrarium and display them on the mantel which will immediately add a personal touch and impress your guests.
