Thighs as Canvas for Tattoo-like Drawings by Charismatic Randa Haddadin

If you love drawing the most in the world, would you bring a canvas to the deserted island? No just bring your thighs. At least, that’s what artist Randa Haddadin would do. Famous for her detailed tattoo-like drawings on her thighs, Randa uses a black ink pen, eyeliner, other makeup, and even acrylic paints with AP safety seal of approval. It all washes down easily in a matter of seconds and her drawings can take 5-20 minutes in most cases. Sometimes, if she likes the design very much she would rock it for the day, showing off her art to the world. The process is very meditating for Randa. “These days I mostly draw to disconnect from everyday life. I’m present in that moment, I feel every stroke, every line.” Her artwork mostly contains floral motifs (when she’s in her best mood), architectural structures (both real and imagined), but also “faces of random people and their expressions, dancers and their movements.” To hear that people around the world take her designs and ink them as real tattoos on their skin makes her very proud and happy – “Such an honor.” She finds inspiration everywhere. In people she meets, places she visits, or even dreams to see. The feelings that are left within after. A true artist, Randa Haddadin!

Canvas? Pff… Thighs are all you need.

Randa draws both existing and non-existed architectural designs

She also draws “faces of random people and their expressions, dancers and their movements.”

Wow! In love with the design and sunray use.

It’s actually a bit sad that she washes down these designs in a matter of seconds.

Sometimes she would keep drawings on her thigh for a day and go around showing off, proudly.

A-mazing!

“I think we all did this at some point in our lives, especially as children. I guess I never really grew out of it, as I always doodle something either on my hand or leg, or clothes.” – Randa on how it all started.
