Kim Leuenberger is a young artist from North West of Switzerland, from a region called Jura. That region is settled in between two chains of mountains so Kim felt a little bit trapped and decided to travel and explore the world. With her, she always brings her camera and her little buddies – vintage toy cars. “I travel the world with my tiny cars”, says Kim. She captures amazing and beautiful portraits of her tiny cars, wherever she finds herself in the world. The details on these photos are quite astonishing, and the composition itself is very clever. Kim manages to capture these miniature vehicles and make them look like they’re not tiny at all. The little Volkswagen “Beetle” really looks like it belongs on the streets of the big and beautiful London, or on the outskirts of New York, and the little vintage van trapped in the snow looks so real-sized that we can just admire Kim’s creativity and cleverness.
