Photographer Janelle Pietrzak is from Colorado but she often lives location free to find magnificent and unique places for her surreal images. Taking inspiration from myths, legends and fairy tales, she expresses her extraordinary imagination by narrating untold or unfinished visual stories. They remind the viewers of Chris Van Allsburg’s classic children’s book, and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick as they look like illustrations taken from story books.
