Meet Zorro the Fox, Beloved Friend of Nature Photographer from Prince Edward Island

A nature photographer from heavenly Prince Edward Island, Canada, Jon Wedge has grown friends with his curious visitor of red fur. “For the last 3 years I’ve had a couple of different foxes visit me, but just one has been there the entire time, and that is my good buddy Zorro the Fox,” says Jon. Zorro’s been a regular year round guest of Jon’s backyard, which now can be called his home. He comes every single day for the past 3 winters and Jon is very thankful he has gained his trust enough to get close to capture these fantastic shots. “He shows up during the day and nap for hours, sometimes on the ground, sometimes inside the playpen! He reminds me of a cat more than a dog. He likes to walk along the fence surrounding my yard to get from one garden shed to the other. Every now and again he will get up and act like a goofball, showing a fun and playful side to his personality. And sometimes he likes to bring over friends, which I don’t mind at all. As long as they tidy up after themselves.”
