An Ancient Church Reappeared from the Water in Mexico

We all love stories about lost and ancient cities such as Atlantis. This is a similar story, but not as huge or unbelievable as the story of the lost civilization. 400-year-old colonial church reappeared after long time. This object was underwater from the year 1966 when the citizens of nearby place built a dam. The water level in the Nezahualcoyotl reservoir drastically dropped by 25 meters (82 feet), allowing the church to reborn. This church was built by the monks and it was quickly abandoned somewhere between 1773-1776. Settled in between the misty hills of Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, this church looks like a scene from a epic, fantasy movie. The fact that not many people live there gives this place a note of mystery.
