Everyone loves superheroes, right? But has anyone ever wondered what would they look like if they grew old? Alex Solis, a street artist from America thought a little bit about that possibility and he created illustrations of aged iconic superheroes. So, on his drawings, famous heroes like Batman, Thor, Flash, Wonderwoman, and many others, look like grumpy old grandpas and grandmas. But what’s adorable about these illustrations is that even though they are old, they did not lose their fighting spirit, motivation and strength. In a way, these whimsical and fantastically illustrated characters should be role models for everyone out there who is in the process of accepting the inevitable effect of time. There is nothing to be afraid or ashamed when you are old, you are still the same person, just a little bit wiser, and that is a good thing. These amazing drawings by Alex Solis are teaching us exactly that, and we can only hope that this series of images will inspire everyone out there to stay positive, noble, kind and to be a true hero, regardless of their age.
